I sprinkled some of the crushed eggshells on my little cuties brunch today. As you can see, brunch mostly consisted of carrots, crushed eggshells, coriander leaves, corn, sesame seeds and a little bit of chia seeds. And yes, that tall stem thing you see below, is a bunch of coriander stems with their root! My birds love munching on the root!!!

My birdies jumped in happily when they saw their favorite corn mixed in with their brunch. They sure love their corn!!

Today's brunch consisted of sprouts, coriander leaves, corn, green peas, sesame & chia seeds (sprinkled) and some green lettuce.

What veggies do your birds like?

My birds go nuts for nuts (the cockatiels LOVE cashew-nuts!!), corn, wet coriander leaves and its roots (You have to wash the roots well since its usually covered in dirt and soil). I add cashew-nuts to my cockatiels feeding bowl twice a week. I also throw in almonds. But they aren't fond of it.

heres what i made for them ..its really easy to make and birds chow down on it in no time...

All you gotta do is add their favorite seeds and nuts to a mixtures of honey and egg white...mix the mixture and microwave it for a while...let it cool and voila!bird treat ready!

This is the list of seeds that i use for my budgies and tiels...
i sparingly add the fatty seeds like canary seeds and flax seeds(flax seeds is known to cause goitre in birds.so give them those minimal)

Mustard seeds (yellow, red, and black)
Barley

Wheat
Flax seeds 
Pumpkin seeds (raw; not roasted) 
Sesame seeds (black, white, or brown)

               (The above is pumpkin seeds..i didnt know it at the time..kinda forgot its name :) )

PS:budgies prefer to eat wheat berries and barley oats  sprouted and boiled...my tiels dont mind it raw.

My birds absolutely love the Versale Laga Premium Prestige Seed Mixes!!!

Since we dont get oat grains around here,they love picking it from that seed mixture along with millets.
